What You Can Expect From Our Process

OK, I am glad you are here. This would suggest you are open to identifying if there are any gaps within your financial plan that may be holding you back in any way. The process we guide our clients through has purpose.
The foundation of our planning process is that there is no magic formula for success. Each person has his or her own formula. Our hope is that we will give you the tools and process to discover what is best for you.
The first part of our process is the completion of the Financial Directions profiles. There are 3 reasons why this is important.
-
It has been our experience that the foundation of helping you must be grounded in trust. The trust between the financial professional and client is vital. If the financial professional and you have difficulty communicating because of personality differences, the opportunity for trust can be strained.
-
If there is not a good financial professional/client match, it is my responsibility to give you information about a financial professional whose personality would more likely match yours so communication can come easily and hopefully help you accelerate the learning process.
-
The Financial Directions profiles give you a starting point to see what your unique strengths and struggles are in an unemotional, nonthreatening way. This information will be the foundation for you to begin formulating your definition of a quality life.
Once the client/financial professional match has been agreed upon, the next step is completing what we call My Unique Profile (MUP). This is important because you are acknowledging your unique strengths and struggles and also identifying how you would like information to be delivered. This gives the financial professional an indication of how best to help you move through this process at a pace that will be most beneficial for you.
After you have completed your MUP, we will go through an exercise called Accelerate Your Financial Plan. To view the document click here. This takes about 30 minutes to complete and it will set the framework of what you would like to accomplish during your initial meetings.
If you would like more than just a suggestion of how your portfolio should be invested based on your financial personality, we would move on to the next steps. This is not a requirement and we can move through the steps in the order that you feel is most comfortable for you. However, from our experience, if you follow our suggested process, the understanding and application of these principles you may learn are better integrated into your normal life experiences.
The next stage will be another online assessment call which we call Financial Directions. This behavior analysis overlays the natural behavior from the Path 4 and Path 6 Profiles with the learned behavior uncovered in the Financial Directions assessment. This will help create a good basis for in-depth discussions to get a better understanding of how your education and experience will effect your behavior and how you see the world.
Throughout the process we will be walking through the Quality Life workbook. Click here to view the outline of the book.
Our goal with this process is to give you a new and fresh way of looking at money and relationships. We are trying to help you answer the life questions that always seem to be expressed with financial concerns.
Our services can be accessed on a fee for service, hourly rate, or as part of a money management relationship. If you would like to get started, the link to take your Path 4 and 6 assessments is below. After completion of your assessments, our office will contact you to schedule a time to begin the process.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss our process, please give our office a call or send us an email at george.vieth@ingfp.com.
